I was on twelve medications. I built this because that was unacceptable.

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Over the next decade, that turned into twelve medications. It was not because anyone was careless, but because that's what managing a chronic condition usually looks like. You get a prescription. Then another. Then one to manage the side effects of the first two. Nobody was asking why it kept getting worse. Everyone was just managing what was in front of them.

I didn't want to spend the next thirty years like that.

So I went looking for what was actually causing it - not just the numbers on my lab report, but what was blocking my body from managing this on its own in the first place. What I found wasn't one thing. It was a pattern, sitting underneath years of symptoms that had been treated separately.

Working with a physician, I built a protocol around that pattern - synthesizing conventional medical care with practices that Ayurveda has used for centuries to describe exactly this kind of obstruction. Ninety days later, I'd reduced my medication load by 75%. Not by stopping anything on my own - every change was supervised, tracked, and adjusted by my doctor throughout.
